Facilities and locations

Welcome to the classroom

We’ve changed the way we’re teaching so you can continue your education online now, and on campus later

In addition to 60-80+ days of practical teaching placement, students of education at RMIT typically study at the Bundoora or City campus. Both campuses give students access to dedicated study spaces and fully-equipped sports facilities, computer labs and more.

Pedagogies of Possibilities Lab

RMIT’s Pedagogies of Possibilities Lab (PoPLab) is just one of the exciting facilities available at the Bundoora campus. PoPLab is a virtual and physical space for innovative industry-partnered research, giving students access to video technologies that will enable them to explore practice with ‘real’ children in online and face-to-face modes of delivery.

Experience education at RMIT

Learn from highly-skilled lecturers

Be inspired by passionate lecturers like Mark

Mark Mossuto coordinates RMIT’s Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and looks after the development of customised commercial training. He has extensive experience in the development and delivery of materials, activities and assessments.

“Training and assessment in any field is about making that training meaningful, purposeful, and useful to those in front of you. The contextualisation of training allows us to put meaning into what we do. Relevance is the key.”

My favourite thing about the Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood) is the emphasis on practical experience through work placement. RMIT has designed a program that really does prepare you to work in an early childhood setting.

– Aubree Garber, Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood)
