Logging in to your Library account

Log in to 'My Library Account' from the Library home page or by selecting the 'Log in' button on the LibrarySearch banner. Once you've logged in, you'll be able to:

  • check current items you have on loan
  • view your loan history
  • check if you have any holds
  • check if your Library account has been blocked
  • reset your login details (Caval and Special Borrowers)

RMIT students, staff and alumni: log in with your RMIT ID and password (do not use your Library barcode).

CAVAL and Special Borrowers: log in using Barcode/ID and password.

To reset your password, select the 'Personal Details' tab and click on the 'Caval/Special Borrowers Login Reset' button. If you have forgotten your password, please contact the Library and we will reset it for you.

Blocks placed on a Library account

If at any time your library account has a block, it may be because you have overdue items. Further information on overdues is available. You will not be permitted to borrow more items until the block has been removed.

Phishing emails - a reminder

If you receive an email from the Library asking you to reactivate your library access, do not click on that link.

If you accidentally click on the phishing link and log in, please report it immediately.
